Gypsy Fire was formed in 1998 in Bend, Oregon, by director Quinn Donovan Fradet. Having studied since 1994 with FatChanceBellyDance in San Francisco, Quinn brought this style of dance to Central Oregon, and began Gypsy Fire. Quinn has since completed the FCBD Certification for General Skills and Teacher Training, and is considered a General Studio (ATS-based, not exclusively FCBD movements). She has continued her studies both in the Jamila and Suhaila Salimpour formats, as well as being inspired by workshops with many talented Tribal teachers.
We treasure the aspects of creativity, communication, trust and community that Tribal Bellydance fosters, and we are ever thankful to our Dance Mamas, Fat Chance Bellydance, and all the troupes that keep this art form alive and thriving.
Gypsy Fire teaches and performs locally, regionally, and internationally, and we are always thrilled to grow our Tribal Family!
