2:15-3:45 p.m. – Making the Most of Your Movement

This workshop is food for the dancer’s soul. First you will learn an extended signature “Soulfire Style” combination. After it is in your body, we will work deeply within the combo and make it come to life. We will explore different concepts and techniques to make your movement dynamic, strong, and meaningful. We will be working on Energy Flow within the Body, Lines/Posture, Groundedness/Body Awareness and Emotional Connection, all key components to presenting graceful, powerful movement with depth and integrity. This workshop is great for ALL levels and styles.

Belly Dance Soulfire is an innovative collective of established and professional solo artists that have come together to synergistically create a shared vision. They draw on all of their various performance backgrounds and life experiences to bring you their heartfelt and passionate signature “Soulfire Style” They serve as groundbreaking pioneers dedicated to elevating and expanding the Sacred Art of Belly Dance along with helping it to gain a legitimate and well deserved place in the artistic world and entertainment industry.
