Dancer Lottery form for September live music evening featuring Harika!

MEDGE will be hosting Harika for live music night on September 9.  As we’ve done in years past, we are opening the dance portion to a lottery, and we will draw names from those entered at the August 12 show.  Those chosen do not need to be present at the August show to be considered.

Please fill in the online form, or enter at the August show.

Sorry, but this form is no longer accepting submissions.

Board meetings moving to Whole Foods Community Room

Beginning in June, our Board meetings will be moving to Whole Foods Community Room (upstairs), 353 E Broadway, in Eugene.   Normal board meetings are the first Tuesday of each month, but for June and July, we will meet the second Tuesday (June 13 and July 11).  Members are welcome and encouraged to attend board meetings.

Thank you note/profile from donation to International Rescue Committee

MEDGE received a very thoughtful thank you for our recent donation to the International Rescue Committee (proceeds from our February show were donated). Along with the following letter, Bushra included the following pdf entitled, “My story“.

“My name is Bushra, and I am a refugee from Iraq resettled by the International Rescue Committee.

It is my honor to thank you for your support of the IRC. Support from donors like you helped give my family a new life in the United States. Now I have peace, freedom, and   a better life for my kids, I am so very grateful.

I have attached a note to read about my story if you can manage your time.

Please know that your gifts to the IRC really do help people like me to survive and rebuild their lives.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.”
