Erin has been dancing for most of her life and growing up immersed in the local international dance communities of the Pacific Northwest has helped shape her as a dancer.
She Began dancing and performing at about age 6 and shortly after attended the National Academy of Artistic Gymnastics for a number of years. The combination of ballet and international folk dance has allowed Erin to adapt to many different dance styles. From Latin to line dances of the Balkans, Erin has developed an appreciation for all dance styles and cultures. Erin has traveled abroad to Hungary to study the local dances from the region and attended Hungarian dance and music camps for many years.
Erin’s discovery and interest of Belly Dance came about 5 years ago. She started taking classes from local instructors and has been hooked ever since. She dances predominantly Egyptian style Raqs Sharqi and strives to bring an authentic experience to audiences while also incorporating her own unique style. She hopes to continue pursuing belly dance and is so glad to be a part of the local Belly Dance community!
